Sometimes in the ESX VI client if you 'unregister' a system, you'll find it's hard to get it registered again. So the convenient way is to login to the ESX console, and submit the command like the following
vmware-cmd -s register /vmfs/volumes/467ac44d-0da972d2-c0fb-0019b9b1dc72/SAP1/SAP1.vmx
vmware-cmd -s register /vmfs/volumes/467ac44d-0da972d2-c0fb-0019b9b1dc72/SAP1/SAP1.vmx
